I can't believe John Hughes died. He completely influenced my high school days. Molly Ringwald was my heroine, and I loved his soundtracks. I never hear Whistle Down the Wind without thinking of Sixteen Candles. And Ferris Bueller was another in my canon of high school films. And Chloe loves that movie now!
